Inclusion

Inclusion means that everyone naturally belongs to it. No matter of looks, language or disability one may have. A place where everyone can be there anywhere, at work, at home, in their free time or traveling: that is inclusion. Inclusion is a human right which is enshrined in the UN Disability Rights Convention. This treaty was signed by more than 180 countries.

Accessibility

Accessibility means not being excluded from using something on the basis of experiencing a disability or age related limitations. The idea that people can do what they need and wish to do in a similar amount of time and effort as someone that does not have a disability. It means that people are empowered, can be independent, and will not be frustrated by something that is poorly designed or implemented. Accessibility is about facilities, correct information and attitude.

Barrier-free

The goal is access for all and to make the services as accessible as possible; to stop no one. By trying to make sure that there aren’t any barriers that make it impossible or difficult for someone to use them and so be easy to use by everyone. To be barrier-free.

Universal design

It is a design of products and environment to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need of adapting or using a specialized design. The intent is to simplify life for everyone by making products, communication and built environments more usable for everyone at little or no extra cost.
